Kevin – The Last Strike
Episode 2: The combat
Kevin stood in the pouring rain, his black sword resting on his shoulder. His cold eyes looked straight at Akira.
Kevin:
“I don’t have anyone I care about… no one I love. So if you think you know my weakness, you’re wrong.
I fight for good and for evil… I do whatever I want.
And anyone who crosses my path… I kill them.
So tell me again, Akira… do you really believe you can defeat me?”
Akira wiped the rain from her face and smirked slightly.
Akira:
“I guess my boss was right about you… you really are a stubborn one.
Of course, you’re stronger than anyone I know. Killing you won’t be easy.”
She slowly raised her sword.
Akira (calmly):
“But guess what… I can kill you anytime, anywhere.
I don’t even have to push myself that hard.”
Kevin took a deep breath… then suddenly laughed for several seconds.
Akira frowned.
Akira:
“What’s so funny? Do I look like I’m joking?”
Kevin walked straight toward her through the rain. When he stopped, he looked directly into her eyes.
Kevin:
“Go ahead… try.
But let me promise you something.”
He lifted his sword slightly.
Kevin:
“When I kill you… your death will be fast.
It won’t hurt much.
That’s my promise.”
Akira stayed silent for a moment, staring into Kevin’s cold eyes.
Akira:
“A man with zero feelings… is nothing but death itself.
Looking into your eyes… I know I’m standing in front of a man called Death.”
She smiled faintly.
Akira:
“But I can still see a missing piece of your good soul.
And one day… I will wake it up.”
She pointed her sword at him.
Akira:
“Just watch me, baby.”
